Welcome!
You probably landed here because you read Blood
Harvest or Tommy Gun Tango. As an author all I can do is say thanks.
(My wife and mom thank you, too. Plus my grandkids. The bank, too.)
Without readers I don’t have a reason to keep telling these tales. And
I really like spinning yarns.
I love hearing from readers. You can email me: brantrandall@earthlink.net
Now
the not very well kept secret is that Brant Randall is a pen name. If
you want the truth check the tab above that reads: Who is Brant
Randall?
At present I am writing a text book on screenwriting and planning my next book of crime fiction.
What’s that? You want to know what it will be called and when it will be published?
Currently (because sometimes publishers change things) the title is Nasté, Brutus, and Shorte.
Sounds like a law firm, but really they are private detectives, have an
office in Hollywood. Keep hoping they will be discovered by the movie
studios—or at least reality television.
This one will be written in the style of Christopher Moore if he was disguised as Doug Adams.
Or maybe Jane Austen. Depends on my mood.
The
back story is that these three partners are actually old Norse gods.
Without any believers they are losing their powers, so they have moved
to the center of the media universe in hopes of regaining popularity.
They aren’t happy in Los Angeles. First of all, the weather is too nice. They’re used to dreary cloud cover and raging storms.
Second, Hollywood is full of other old gods from around the world hoping for their own show biz breaks.
Third...well, I can't tell you everything.You know what I'd have to do.
